PPORA Fixture Grants 2025-26

The PPORA are delighted to open up the small grant system for next season, the grants will support and enable struggling Point to Points to continue in operation. The committee is able to offer £1000 to ten successful applicants for the 2025-26 Point to Point season. 

Point to Point secretaries are welcome to apply for a grant if they feel they meet the below criteria and need to complete the application form in full.

Grant Criteria;

• Point to Point is financially struggling to host a fixture in 2025-26

• The fixture was unable/ or struggled to go ahead in 2024-25 causing a financial impact

• The fixture will host at least one PPORA race in 2025-26 season

• The Point to Point will invest the grant money in a measurable way to sustain or grow an existing fixture 

• The fixture will provide PPORA Owners with a minimum of six passes for runners in the PPORA Race

  
  

The Process;

1. Point to Point secretaries make applications by 1 September 2025

2. PPORA committee to review the applications in consultation with PPA and the PPSA 

3. Successful grants to be award by 30 September 

The PPORA grants do not need to be invested in prize money but it is recommended that the financial support is invested in the fixture in a way that can be measured and can be related to benefit PPORA members.

For example; 

• Investing in owners facilities to improve the raceday experience for PPORA Members

• Increasing prize money for PPORA Owners

• Covering costs of essential operation staff and/or facilities (owners marquees etc.) which means the fixture can still go ahead hosting PPORA races
