We are delighted to announce or new sponsor  Equestrian Art International (EAI) who have generously agreed a sponsorship package combining the 2018 PPORA Chairman’s Award  along with the monthly Hunter Chase Highlight Awards.   A highlight of their sponsorship  will be the presentation of a piece of original fine art to the winner of the 2018 PPORA Chairman’s Award at the PPORA Grassroots Awards Lunch at Stratford on June 8th

PPORA Chairman Robert Killen said

“I am delighted to welcome John Thorley and Equestrian Art International, as a new PPORA sponsor, and especially pleased that this year’s Chairman’s Award winner will be rewarded with a beautiful piece of original art work in recognition of their contribution to our sport”

Explaining his decision to become involved in Point to Point sponsorship EAI owner John Thorley told us

“As a Point to Point and racing enthusiast, I am very aware of the role played by Point to Pointing both as a vibrant sport in its own right, and as a contributor of talent to the National Hunt sphere.

Many of our customers come from the Point to Point and National Hunt communities and for us this is an exciting opportunity to extend our direct involvement in the sport.

I am looking forward to monthly involvement with the Hunter Chase Highlight of the Month Awards, and to meeting the winner of the 2018 Chairman’s Award at Stratford in June.”

Since 2003 EAI have specialised representing a number of leading contemporary British equestrian artists whose original work is displayed on their website www.equestrianartuk.com and exhibited at major sporting events including Cheltenham, Newmarket and York.

Amongst the artists represented is former Point to Point rider Katie Scorgie, whose work, including the images shown here, will form part of EAI’s Cheltenham Festival Exhibition next week.  Located at Stand 26 in the Shopping Village EAI will present a changing display of original racing and hunting  fine art by a range of artists throughout the four days.  John Thorley will be on hand to discuss the artists and their work and is looking forward to meeting PPORA members who will be offered a 10% discount on any purchases they make.
