2019 PPORA Grassroots Awards Lunch at Stratford on Friday 31st of May

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF USE By purchasing and using a ticket for the 2019 PPORA Grassroots Awards Lunch, the purchaser and holder hereof agrees to and accept all conditions outlined below and all rules and standards of conduct posted in or about the venue. Please only buy your tickets via the PPORA website or using a link provided by the PPORA

Bookings:  Tickets are subject to availability and full payment is required at the time of booking.  Regrettably it is not possible to reserve tickets pending payment 

Refunds & Exchanges: We regret that with the exception of the circumstances outlined below tickets for the 2019 PPORA Grassroots Awards Lunch are non-refundable once purchased:

a) Cancellation of the Lunch by us at any point prior to Friday May 31st – a full refund of the ticket price paid will be offered

b) Rearrangement of the event: In the event of a rearrangement you will be contacted and offered the option to use your ticket(s) on the new date or to receive a full refund of the price paid. To obtain a refund you must contact the PPORA within 5 working days of the announcement of a rearranged date clearly stating that your wish to cancel your booking and receive a refund

c) Changes to the races programmed on Friday 31st of May: NO refunds will be made if there is a change to the races programmed for Friday 31st of May.

d) Cancellation of racing on Friday 31st of May: in the event that racing is cancelled or abandoned before the first race a refund of the racecourse admission component of the overall ticket price i.e. £7.50 will be offered, No refunds will be made in the event of abandonment after the first race.

e) Changes to the event: The event has been described in good faith, however on occasion changes may be required as a result of circumstances beyond our control, and with the exception of event cancellation/re-arrangement described above, no refund will be paid as a result of changes to the advertised event.  This includes any changes made to the races programmed / run on Friday 31st of May.

All refunds are limited to the purchase value of the ticket (or as otherwise described above), the organisers accept no responsibility for any consequential losses arising from the cancellation abandonment or rearrangement of the event

Refund Processing: All refunds described above will be processed by the PPORA

a) In the event of cancellation/abandonment refunds will be processed within 28 days of the date of the event

b) In the event of rearrangementrefunds will be processed within 28 days of receiving a valid request.

Please note that no refunds will be available on the day of the event. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Refunds will be made using the same payment mechanism as the original payment (card, PayPal, cheque or Bank Transfer)

Meal options: The advertised menu options have been provided in good faith, in the event that changes to the menu are made the items will be of a similar standard to that which has been advertised. By default all guests will be served Menu Option 1, all requests for Option 2 must be received by 5pm on Friday May 17th no changes will be possible after this date. Any special requests must be received by 5pm on Friday May 17th and will be subject to confirmation by our caterers.

Seating:Booking options include the opportunity to purchase tables for 10 or 12 people. Where multiple individual tickets are purchased together as one booking we will endeavour to seat these together, this is subject to availability and is not guaranteed. Any other seating requests should be emailed to membership@ppora.co.uk we will accommodate these wherever possible however this will be done on a best efforts basis and is subject to space availability and table plan constraints.

Tickets: Please bring your tickets to the event, these are required to gain entry to the event and will be scanned at the marquee reception desk.

Wristbands: All guests will be required to present their ticket at the lunch reception area where it will be exchanged for a wrist band giving admission to the Lunch Marquee and to evening racing. It is a condition of entry that this is visibly worn at all times. If inviting guests please ensure that they are aware of and satisfy this condition.

Right of Admission: The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to the grounds or any part thereof or to have any persons removed from grounds for public safety reasons, overcrowding or otherwise as the organisers do not accept any liability for loss or damages, consequential or otherwise. Admission to Stratford Racecourse is subject to Stratford Racecourse’s standard terms and conditions. The ticket holder consents to a reasonable examination of his/her person and belongings to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations and public safety.

Liability: The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risk and danger of personal injury and responsibility for property loss, destruction or theft and all hazards arising from or relating in any way to the event for which this ticket is issued whether occurring prior to, during or after the event and releases the ticket issuer, the event producer, the facility, the sponsors, and all organisations involved from all liability thereafter save where and to the extent that arises from breach of contract (not due to the Force Majeure) or by the negligent act or omission of said organisations involved.
