2018 – 2019 Owner-Trainer of the Season Winner: Jack Veysey
Win, lose, or draw Jack loves every aspect of Pointing. Participation for Jack is all about haunch fun. with pleasure gained from his day to day involvement with his horses as well as from the thrill of race riding. Winning he told us is a bonus.
The popularity of his November-December “Owner-Trainer of the Month Award” on social media was remarkable, and spread way beyond the Point to Point community to the wider equestrian world making him a fantastic ambassador for the sport, and an undoubtedly “Owner-Trainer of the Season” winner.
About these awards
These awards are a great opportunity to find out more about the hands-on owners who are at the grassroots heart of our sport, putting in the hard graft it takes to produce a winner on the track.
Despite the changing and character of Pointing we had no shortage of candidates for these awards in 2018 – 2019, and we’r looking forward to choosing more winners and sharing their stories over coming months.
