2018 – 2019 Owner Trainer of the Month and Season Awards
Our Owner-Trainer of the Month Awards champion the achievements of one of the most traditional elements of the grassroots pointing community owner-trainers who not only pay the bills but also put in dedication and the hours of hard graft needed to produce their horses in winning form on raceday.
As our 2017 – 2018 winners illustrate, in choosing our winners we are recognising personal achievements – not just the number of races won. All of our winners had engaging stories to tell – showcasing the diversity of our sport.
This season there will be 5 monthly award winners – one of whom will be chosen as “Owner-Trainer of the Season” and invited to join us at the 2019 PPORA Grassroots Awards Lunch to receive their award.
These are awards are a great opportunity for PPORA Members to get involved, sending us your nominations helps ensure we get a great mix of contenders – and winners – from across the areas. Click here to find out how to nominate
There’s still a chance to read about them by clicking the links below – and and we’ll update the page with stories of our 2018 – 2019 winners as the season unfolds.
