2 new contenders enter the top 6 in the Stratford Racecourse PPORA Champion Owner Award as February draws to a close

February month end saw David Brace extend his established his lead in the Stratford Racecourse PPORA Champion Owner Award rankings where he now holds a 26 point advantage

This month’s points came courtesy of a William Money’s win in the Dodson & Horrell PPORA Novice Riders’ Series at Chaddesley Corbett and a hard fought runner up spot where Pink Eyed Pedro came off second best to Tempelpirate in the PPORA Novice Riders’ Race at the Vine and Craven’s re-arranged Barbury meeting.  Tempelpirate’s 1o points brought owner-trainer Tim Underwood’s Champion Owner Award tally to 16 and  into the top 6 reckoning for the first time this season. Also  joining the leading 6,  are John and Bronwen Aprahamian who  start March in third position thanks to a brace of game wins by Bayley’s Dream who top and tailed the month with a win in the Dodson & Horrell PPORA Novice Riders’ Series at Horseheath on February’s opening weekend, and then followed up in the  PPORA Novice Riders’ Race  at Garthorpe last weekend.  You can read more about Bayley’s Dream by clicking here and here
